"Factory Blues"

I found these buildings on the south edge of town. We often
see large factories that have either closed down or view
them as an ugly blotch but on this day the light was shining
through a beautiful blue sky and these big old structures
seemed to take on a life of their own and reveal a hidden beauty.

"Bird Watchers" - Colorado
Dreamscape Series
9"x12"-oil on 1.5" deep canvas(painted on sides)
Abigale,Bernice and Mildred became friends on a hiking trip,
many years ago. They were all avid bird watchers and every
year they would choose a new location to go on a field trip.
It was the brochure that Abigale found, that told about the
lush forests, meadows filled with colorful alpine flowers,
soaring cliffs, snowcapped peaks, picturesque valleys and
rivers of the Rocky Mountain National Park that was the deciding
factor for their latest adventure.

On a beautiful blue sky day, I found this young guy standing
on the roof of one of the oldest White Castles around my area.
White Castle has been around so long now that I think one could
call it an American tradition.
