Edward Hopper is one of my all time favorite artists because
his work captured the moments of his time. So, today's painting
is a painting of a man in the moment of viewing the Hopper's

At one end of a long hallway at the art museum were two beautiful
pieces painted at Giverny, France. It was fascinating to sit at
the far end of the hallway and watch the different ways that
people stood while viewing them.

"Abstract Man"

I often go to the Art Museum. I find it inspiring to see some of the old
masters work and of course there are also the new exhibits. I can sit and
sketch people as they ponder what is before them. This man stood for a very
long time in front of this fabulous piece...to me he almost became part of
the painting.
